Friends of TN's Babies with Special Needs Mission Statement:

"Working to enhance the potential of infants and young children with disabilities by offering support to their families and the early intervention professionals who serve them."

In the world of special needs, a sense of community is a lifeline - a beacon of hope that gives the reassurance that "I am not alone". It is our mission and privilege to be there, to provide resources and assistance, to provide opportunities to build precious family memories, and to give families a community to belong to where their child is valued, seen and celebrated. We don't Have to do it - we GET to do it!!!!

In 2024, FOT helped provide assistance and resources to 1,345 children with special needs. Over 5000 attended free family events that were specifically designed to help families make special memories with their own family while networking with other families in the special community. Assistance was provided for travel expenses to out of town medical appointments, emergency aid, purchasing adaptive equipment, much needed respite for caregivers, and providing for basic needs.

What an awesome privilege we have to be a COMMUNITY BUILDER! Won't you join us by becoming part of our community and providing support to babies with special needs? In one sentence, Friends of TN's Babies with Special Needs is a force of good with arms wide-open, pulling children close into one deliberate hug and saying: "Hey, let's rest here awhile and talk about how wonderful you are."
